About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Firearms Licensing Administrator to join our team at Devon & Cornwall Police. As a key member of our firearms licensing team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective processing of firearms licensing applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage firearms licensing applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to applicants, responding to queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the firearms licensing team to maintain awareness of changing processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Manage and process payments for certificates, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely payment.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute high volumes of mail and email, ensuring efficient communication within the team.
