About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Police Enquiry Officer. As a key member of our community support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to the public, responding to enquiries and incidents in a professional and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide initial response to reported crimes and incidents, gathering information and providing guidance to the public.
  • Deal with a wide range of enquiries from the public and other agencies, offering advice, information, and guidance on legislation, policing responsibilities, and police complaints.
  • Record and document information accurately and efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and other agencies to resolve incidents and provide support to the community.
Requirements
  • Proven customer service skills and experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word, with the ability to use multiple bespoke IT systems.
  • Full driving license (unless prevented by reason of disability).
