We are excited to present an excellent opportunity for a Strategic Procurement Specialist within our esteemed Diagnostics, Equipment & Services Team at Supply Chain Coordination Limited.

The Strategic Procurement Specialist will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategy for specific categories or product groups aimed at enhancing the supply chain, mitigating risks, establishing competitive advantages, and achieving cost efficiencies. By concentrating on product assortments, promotional offers, and market entry strategies, and collaborating closely with key stakeholders, you will create product categories that maximize value for both clients and the organization. Your insights into industry trends and consumer behavior will support the formulation of recommendations for optimizing new product introductions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve specific category objectives aligned with the organization's procurement strategy.
  • Generate precise reports by gathering data from various standard sources and organizing it into established formats.
  • Investigate and develop a foundational understanding of external developments or emerging trends.
  • Execute stakeholder management activities according to established procedures; assist in fostering and optimizing relationships with both external and internal stakeholders, including key decision-makers and regulatory bodies.
  • Collect and analyze data using predefined tools and methods, demonstrating the ability to work independently.
  • Gather and compile information on critical cost drivers, market dynamics, innovative areas, and alternative suppliers to provide senior colleagues with robust market insights for informed decision-making.
  • Deliver exceptional service to clients while identifying opportunities for new business acquisition or supporting client retention, which may involve addressing complex inquiries and resolving customer issues.
