About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Commercial Manager to join our Procurement team at Talent Drive | B Corp™. As a key member of our leadership function, you will be responsible for managing all commercial activity and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Strategy Development: Develop integrated market strategies for complex, medium-high spend categories, with significant business impact.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Establish a collaborative way of working with all relevant stakeholders to support the successful transition of integrated market strategies to relevant sourcing-led executions.
  • Contract Life Cycle Management: Manage the contract life cycle in accordance with the contract, ensuring seamless execution and optimal results.
  • Market Recognition: Recognized for expert market knowledge and commercial acumen.
  • Team Development: Contribute to the development of the category management team, providing guidance and support to peers to maximize value for the organization.
  • Cost Transparency: Ensure accurate and timely submission of information in required formats.
Requirements
  • Team Player: A real team player, able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and demonstrate good attention to detail.
  • Commercial Expertise: Effective commercial/contract management skills, with clear knowledge of best practice contract methodologies.
  • Supplier Management: Proven ability to manage suppliers effectively.
  • Contract Administration: Demonstrable track record of administering successful contracts.
  • Commercial Acumen: Highly developed commercial skills and ability to make sound decisions on matters of significant financial value.
  • Contract Performance Measurement: Good understanding of contract performance measurement, risk management, and change and claim management.
