Salary: £55,000-£60, % bonus + 14% employer pension contributions + onsite gym

About the Role:
This reputable utility brand, ranked #11 in the inclusive top 50 UK employers List, is seeking a Strategic Commercial Manager to join their Procurement function. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for managing all commercial activity and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Strategy: Develop integrated market strategies for complex, medium-high spend categories, with significant business impact.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Establish a collaborative way of working with all relevant stakeholders to support the successful transition of integrated market strategies to relevant sourcing-led executions.
- Contract Management: Manage the contract life cycle in accordance with the contract.
- Market Recognition: Recognized for expert market knowledge.
- Team Development: Contribute to the development of the category management team to maximize value for the organization by supporting and providing guidance to peers.
- Cost Transparency: Ensure information is submitted in required formats.
Requirements:
- Team Player: A real team player, able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and have good attention to detail.
- Commercial Skills: Effective commercial/contract management skills, with clear knowledge of best practice contract methodologies.
- Supplier Management: Supplier management skills.
- Contract Administration: Able to demonstrate a considerable track record of administering successful contracts.
- Commercial Acumen: Highly developed commercial skills and demonstrable ability to make sound decisions on matters of significant financial value.
- Contract Performance: Good understanding of contract performance measurement, risk management, and change and claim management.
