About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Service Manager to join our team at Social Interest Group. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and support to our staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our residents, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide line management and leadership to staff, promoting a culture of learning, development, and reflection.
  • Support the Service Manager in the day-to-day operational delivery of the service, working closely with the team, residents, and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery, quality, and outcomes.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, reports, and data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a residential or social care setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with residents, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including safeguarding and risk management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.
