Key Responsibilities- Manage a group of team managers who oversee a large team of field support specialists working alongside field engineers to install low-carbon technology across the UK.
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the operations function, including team management, operational reporting, managing third-party relationships, and industry compliance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and report back to the Operations Director.
- Lead internal and external meetings with senior stakeholders.
- Support the growth and development of our team, including recruitment and employee communication.
- Provide operational expertise and support to the teams.
- Develop a deep understanding of Octopus Energy Group's culture and customer experience, setting the tone for your team.
- Be a team player with excellent relationship-building skills, able to work across cultures and perspectives.
- Have experience in delivering programs of work, be highly organized, and think practically about tasks needed to get the job done.
- Be adaptable, positive, and proactive, with experience in management, operations, and leadership.
- Have a high level of adaptability and agility to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Be able to think creatively and logically to react to changes in strategy.
- Establish and work with a network quickly to deliver promptly, with a focus on quality and delivery.
- Be analytical, seeking out data to inform decisions.
- Energy industry experience is desirable but not essential.
