About the Role

M Group Services is seeking an experienced Operational Delivery Manager to join our team in delivering high-quality water and wastewater infrastructure projects. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for managing resources, agreeing and assisting in the development of target cost settings, and coordinating design and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a team of professionals to deliver water and wastewater infrastructure projects safely, efficiently, and to high standards.
  • Ensure compliance with M Group Services procedures and regulations, including CDM 2015.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients, stakeholders, and supply chain partners.
  • Manage project delivery, including regular review of performance against cost and programme.
  • Oversee the management of target cost setting and governance.
  • Build and maintain risk, opportunity, and change management processes.
  • Produce monthly programme performance reports.
  • Deliver projects on time and within budget, ensuring quality is adhered to.
Requirements
  • Experience of managing multidisciplinary teams in a regulated water environment at a senior level.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels and drive and energy to build and develop a first-class delivery team.
  • Natural collaboration and ability to build relationships with key client and supply chain contacts.
  • Experience working with and managing specialist supply chain for effective and efficient delivery.
  • Able to establish personal and business credibility.
  • Experience of operating and implementing business management systems.
  • Able to work on multiple fronts and support technically.
