Support Assistant for Educational Needs

We are seeking a committed and empathetic Support Assistant to aid our learners at both primary and secondary stages. This role presents a wonderful chance to positively impact students in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) setting.

  • Location: Rossendale
  • Hours: 8:45 AM - 3:30 PM, 3 days a week (flexible on days)
  • Rate: £12.90 per hour
  • Contract: Temporary

Individuals with backgrounds in care, nursing, support, or social work are highly encouraged to consider this opportunity.

All quoted pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role in the future.
Teaching Personnel is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We conduct safeguarding checks on all personnel in line with DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education', which may also involve an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates.
We provide all registered candidates with complimentary child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undergo or have completed a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, with full support offered.
