Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Transformation Portfolio Management Office Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Change and Transformation team, you'll play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our transformation and alignment of our portfolio to company strategy, regulatory requirements, and desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the portfolio prioritization framework and work closely with the Head of Change and business stakeholders to ensure the portfolio remains aligned to business priorities and can clearly articulate impacts if pivoting of priorities is required.
  • Work closely with the Change Leadership team to ensure the portfolio integrated roadmap and transition phases of the transformation have the correct and desired inputs.
  • Ensure the current governance is effective and materials are created and distributed in a timely fashion (e.g. Change Committee, Portfolio SteerCo, Budget & Governance meetings).
  • Pro-actively create reports to demonstrate the health of the portfolio and be creative with how information is analyzed and presented.
  • Working with the PMO team to create, maintain, and update relevant slide packs/data sets for monthly meetings incl. Executive SteerCo, Portfolio Governance overview, monthly business function meetings, and provide minute-taking where required.
  • Be actively engaged and support (along with the team) the Change team with core project activities across the project lifecycle. This will include, but is not limited to, setting-up governance, getting to understand the projects and their outcomes in order to provide greater value-add, planning, resource management/mapping, and RAID management.
  • Providing inputs at the early phases to ensure Programme/Project Managers are clear on the project framework and required governance.
  • Ownership of maintaining a central view of required and projected spend through engagement across the business functions.
  • Regular reporting on forecast against budget and identifying ways to utilize funds effectively.
  • Aligning with the Programme and Project Managers on the process for management of project-specific budgets and providing inputs/support to ensure full transparency.
  • Working with IT PMO and Portfolio Management to bring an holistic picture of the overall Change & transformation spend for MRS-GM.

Requirements

  • Portfolio Management Office of large-scale transformation programmes/projects.
  • Attention to detail and strives for accuracy and data quality.
  • Result-focused, self-motivated, flexible, and enthusiastic.
  • Demonstrable ability to proactively build relationships and manage stakeholders, including providing robust advice, constructive challenge, influencing decisions, delivering well-constructed data and insights.
  • Exemplary presentation skills (both creating and presenting).
  • The right attitude is more important than qualifications, but if you have any PMO qualifications, that's a bonus.
