Key Responsibilities
As a Claims Agent at DPDgroup, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive fair and timely settlements for lost and damaged parcels. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Validating new claim requests against our clearly defined policies and issuing claims forms to customers as needed.
- Reviewing returned claim forms to determine liability and issuing settlements or rejections accordingly.
- Managing customer interactions via telephone and email to ensure their expectations are met.
- Completing ad-hoc tasks related to claims processing.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
- Strong communication skills with a confident telephone manner and ability to build rapport with customers.
- Polite and professional demeanor at all times, with a willingness to go above and beyond to exceed customer expectations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent administration skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google programs.
- High levels of self-motivation and initiative to effectively problem-solve.
