We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Claims Agent to join our team at DPD Group UK. As a Claims Agent, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive a world-class service by efficiently processing and resolving claims for lost and damaged parcels.
Key Responsibilities:- Validate new claim requests against clearly defined policies and issue claims forms to customers where appropriate.
- Validate returned claim forms against clearly defined policies to establish if DPD is liable for loss and damage in transit, issuing settlement or rejecting where appropriate.
- Manage customer interactions via telephone and email, ensuring our customers' expectations are always met.
- Complete ad-hoc tasks related to the above when necessary.
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced customer service environment.
- Strong communication skills with a confident telephone manner and the ability to build a quick rapport with customers.
- Polite and professional at all times, with a willingness to go the extra mile to exceed customer expectations.
- Ability to work as a team player and on your own initiative.
- Excellent administration skills, with the ability to use Microsoft Office/Google programmes.
- Demonstrate high levels of self-motivation and initiative to effectively problem-solve.
