About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Coordinator to join our sales team. As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a vital role in contributing to the growth and profitability of the Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa by providing exceptional service to clients and efficiently handling residential and non-residential conference and events enquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain current knowledge of the resort and surrounding area to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Provide clients with accurate rate information and process re-active enquiries and RFPs accurately.
  • Compile and send out proposals in Delphi, adhering to an effective chase system and supporting the pro-active sales team to move the status of bookings.
  • Send out contracts and pro-forma invoices in a timely manner and accurately input all reservations into the Delphi and Resort Suite.
  • Provide internal departments with accurate information for the support of Corporate & Incentive client activity itineraries.
  • Conduct site inspections and booking appointments to support the pro-active sales team.
  • Housekeeping and updating of Delphi and client databases.
  • Actively participate in pro-active sales, call days with the pro-active sales team.
  • Liaise with the Events Manager and Events Team for a seamless customer transition to contracting and final detail appointments.
  • Build strong relationships with the marketing team to create bespoke client proposals.

About You

You will be a confident, enthusiastic, and driven individual with sales experience, ideally in a hospitality setting. You will be a strong communicator with excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.

This is an exciting permanent opportunity, working 40 hours per week, with a competitive salary of £28,000, depending on experience, and a range of associate benefits, including free on-site parking, lunch meal provided on-site, free fitness and leisure access, and generous discounts in our food and beverage outlets.
