Position Overview

Job Title: Customer Relationship Management Lead

Location: West London, Hybrid

Compensation: £60,000 + benefits

Sector: Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)

The Advocate Group is excited to represent a premier Food production organization in the recruitment for a newly established role at their global headquarters in West London.

We seek a skilled, innovative, and detail-oriented professional to conceptualize and implement a new CRM system aimed at enhancing engagement with essential retail partners across the nation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison for agency partners: managing relationships, defining scope, briefing, and reviewing progress.
  • Strategize future enhancements and functionalities of the CRM platform.
  • Formulate a recruitment strategy for independent outlets.
  • Create an annual activity schedule aligned with brand and commercial objectives, in collaboration with key internal stakeholders.
  • Lead a cross-functional project team to foster internal collaboration with sales, marketing, shopper, and category management teams.
  • Secure trade and marketing resources and support.
  • Establish a communication strategy to raise awareness of the platform and attract users, in conjunction with the trade communication team.
  • Develop and oversee the communication approach with outlets, tailored to business goals, customer segmentation, outlet categories, and cultural events.
  • Promote the platform internally at significant events: leadership meetings, marketing town halls, and commercial conferences.
  • Collaborate with the route-to-market team to enhance visibility and impact.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in CRM digital platforms.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey messages effectively.
  • Proficient in building and nurturing professional relationships.
  • Self-motivated and driven.
  • Ability to forge strong partnerships.
  • Capable of leveraging consumer and category insights.
  • Demonstrates creativity and a commitment to achieving results.
  • Familiarity with sales and/or marketing principles.
  • Positive attitude and supportive of team dynamics.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively towards shared objectives.
  • High energy levels and resilience.
  • Previous experience in the FMCG or retail sector.
