Position Overview

The Senior Product Manager for UK Tax Solutions is a key authority responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and priorities for our suite of UK Tax offerings. This role encompasses the complete product lifecycle, from strategic planning to tactical implementation. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of customer and user requirements, effectively articulating these needs across the organization. Collaboration with design and engineering teams is essential to transform these insights into prioritized roadmaps and impactful, innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership in the UK Tax Market: Leverage your expertise in the evolving UK tax landscape to craft strategic solutions tailored for Tax and Accounting firms.
  • Product Insight Development: Cultivate a strong intuition for product needs by analyzing customer challenges and business opportunities, proposing viable solutions with appropriate guidance.
  • Capability Building: Establish a clear product vision and maintain an actionable roadmap, working closely with development and UX teams to ensure efficient execution. Act as the voice of the customer for engineering teams, prioritizing the product backlog based on customer and business value while utilizing metrics to track progress.
  • Ownership and Accountability: Take full responsibility for the performance and reliability of UK Tax products, ensuring a positive client experience. Demonstrate resilience by learning from experiences and effectively communicating the product vision to stakeholders.
  • Qualifications for Success:
    • Extensive experience in the UK Tax Professional Accounting sector.
    • A curious and innovative mindset, driven by a commitment to understanding and addressing customer needs.
    • Adept in agile methodologies, thriving in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
    • Exceptional communication skills, conveying confidence and clarity to management, peers, and clients.

About You

  • Qualified in UK Tax
  • Proven experience in Product Management
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Computer Science preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 4 years in Product Management roles
  • Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities
  • Expertise in design thinking and cross-functional collaboration
  • Effective execution skills
