Overview

The Senior Manager of UK Tax Products serves as a domain authority, guiding the vision, strategy, and priorities for our suite of UK Tax offerings. This role encompasses the full product lifecycle, from strategic planning to execution. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of customer and user requirements, effectively communicating these insights across the organization, and collaborating with design and engineering teams to establish clear priorities, compelling roadmaps, and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Demonstrate expertise in the UK Tax Professionals market, adapting to the evolving landscape of UK tax legislation and developing strategic solutions for tax and accounting firms.
  • Product Insight: Cultivate strong product intuition by analyzing customer challenges and business opportunities, proposing solutions with appropriate guidance.
  • Product Development: Create a vision for product capabilities, maintain the product roadmap, and work closely with development and UX teams to ensure efficient execution. Act as the voice of the customer for engineering teams, prioritizing the product backlog based on customer and business value, while utilizing metrics to track progress.
  • Ownership and Accountability: Take full responsibility for the performance and reliability of UK Tax products, ensuring a positive client experience. Learn from experiences, recover from setbacks, and effectively communicate the product vision to colleagues.
  • Qualifications: To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
    • Experience in the UK Tax Professional Accounting sector, ideally with a background in UK Tax and Accounting firms.
    • A curious and innovative mindset, focusing on customer needs and collaborating with various stakeholders to devise unique solutions.
    • Agility and a strong sense of urgency, thriving in a fast-paced environment and delivering solutions within strict timelines.
    • Effective communication skills, conveying confidence and clarity to management, peers, customers, and partners.

About You

  • Qualified in UK Tax
  • Proven experience in Product Management
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Computer Science preferred, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in Product Management
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
