Service Care Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill a key role in our team. As a Waste and Recycling Manager, you will be responsible for leading the commercial waste teams and ensuring the effective deployment of resources to maintain a high level of customer service.

Purpose of the Role

The successful candidate will be accountable for developing a range of commercial services, including commercial waste and recycling, and implementing new revenue generation initiatives. This will involve working closely with the operational team to ensure services are run in the most efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase income generation from commercial waste and recycling services.
  • Lead the development and promotion of the Commercial Waste brand, including project planning for digital or operational transformation projects.
  • Liaise with the Waste & Recycling and Litter & Cleansing operational team to ensure services are delivered to the highest standard.
  • Manage and develop the office team, including recruitment, appraisals, attendance management, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Oversee the management of complaints and client correspondence, ensuring responses are provided within the specified timescales.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, including ethnic, social, and professional groups.

This is a temporary role for a 7-month period, covering for maternity leave. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
