Purpose of the RoleThe purpose of this role is to develop and implement a range of commercial services, including commercial waste and recycling, and to identify new revenue generation initiatives. The role holder will be accountable for leading the development of a commercial waste brand awareness strategy and for overseeing the management of complaints and client correspondence.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement commercial waste and recycling services to ensure optimal resource utilization and customer satisfaction.
- Lead the development of a commercial waste brand awareness strategy to promote our services and increase revenue.
- Manage complaints and client correspondence to ensure timely and effective resolution.
- Oversee the management of the commercial waste teams, including recruitment, appraisals, attendance management, and disciplinary procedures.
- Develop and implement new revenue generation initiatives to increase income and profitability.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of customers and stakeholders.
- Experience in the waste industry, with a proven track record of developing and implementing commercial waste and recycling services.
- Strong marketing and sales skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote our services.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
This is a temporary role for a 7-month period, covering for maternity leave. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
