Job Title: Commercial and Sales Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial and Sales Director to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our commercial waste and recycling services, developing new revenue generation initiatives, and ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement commercial services to include waste and recycling, as well as new revenue generation initiatives.
  • Lead the commercial waste team, ensuring effective resource deployment and high customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and promote the Commercial Waste brand, including project planning for digital or operational transformation projects.
  • Liaise with operational teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Manage contract generation, sales conversion, and account management for new business.
  • Ensure quality of service through transparent relationship management and performance management procedures.

Requirements:

  • Experience in management, customer service, and sales.
  • Good awareness of Health and Safety legislation.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workloads efficiently.
  • Competent IT user with ability to learn new systems.
  • Experience in the Waste industry (desirable).

Working Arrangements:

This is a temporary role for a 7-month period covering maternity leave. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
