Job Title: Commercial and Sales Director

Meridian Business Support is seeking a highly experienced Commercial Waste Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing, as well as experience managing a small team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement income generation strategies for recycling and waste collections services.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Build and promote the Commercial Waste brand, highlighting the services offered.
  • Liaise with operational teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Communicate with customers through written and verbal means, including client negotiations.
  • Manage contracts and ensure they meet agreed targets.
  • Oversee the performance management of the office team, including recruitment, appraisals, and disciplinary procedures.
Requirements:
  • Management experience
  • Good awareness of Health and Safety legislation
  • Customer service experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Budget management
  • Income generation skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Good organisational skills
  • Competent IT user
