Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, proactive, and enthusiastic individual to join our team in a fixed-term role providing Executive Assistant support to our Chief Operating Officer. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and possesses exceptional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Diary Management: Utilizing independent judgment to effectively organize and maintain the schedules of Executive Directors, including coordinating appointments and meetings.
  • Liaison: Serving as the first point of contact for clinicians, staff, and external stakeholders, including representatives from various health organizations and the public.
  • Meeting Coordination: Organizing and facilitating both internal and external meetings, preparing initial agendas, and ensuring timely distribution of relevant documents.
  • Correspondence Management: Handling incoming and outgoing communications, ensuring all routine correspondence is appropriately distributed.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 6 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including English Language.
  • NVQ Level 4 in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in a complex work environment, particularly in healthcare settings.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize schedules for senior personnel.
  • Experience in project assistance or leadership.
