Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Planning Manager to join our team at Pay Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective planning strategies to drive business growth and success.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in planning and change management, with experience in developing and implementing planning frameworks, risk management, and capacity planning. You will work closely with our strategy team to ensure alignment with enterprise-wide business planning and strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Embed Planning Frameworks: Design, develop, and embed planning frameworks across all levels of the organization, ensuring a consistent approach to planning and risk management.
  • Risk Management and Capacity Planning: Identify and highlight risks and dependencies across the portfolio plan, engaging with program and project teams to mitigate risks and ensure effective capacity planning.
  • Expert Services and Coaching: Provide expert services and coaching to program and project teams to support consistent and robust planning, developing and upskilling in planning capability.
  • Change Management and Strategic Workforce Planning: Support effective strategic workforce planning for the Change function, working with P3O, delivery, and people teams to ensure alignment with business priorities.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Work with finance teams to support short-term and long-term financial planning for Change budgets, ensuring effective financial planning and analysis.
  • Planning Framework Adoption and Continuous Improvement: Oversee the adoption of planning frameworks and drive continuous improvement, ensuring effective planning and risk management practices are embedded across the organization.

Requirements:

  • Strong Planning and Change Management Background: Proven experience in developing and implementing planning frameworks, risk management, and capacity planning.
  • Strategic Thinking and Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data and drive evidence-based decision-making, with strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective Communication and Influencing Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders, influencing business decisions and driving change.
  • Knowledge of Financial Services/Payments Sector: Knowledge and experience of the financial services/payments sector is desirable.
