About the Role

  • Lead the planning team to deliver high-quality standards and outputs, and inspire career growth.
  • Ensure alignment between Operations, Commercial, and Planning resources on projects.
  • Undertake audits and reviews to ensure planning requirements are followed, minimize non-compliance, and drive high standards.
  • Contribute to the development of business unit and sector plans and strategies.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication and collaborative relationships with clients and other project stakeholders.
  • Support the work-winning function on tender development and ensure governance processes are adhered to.
  • Ensure accurate and transparent reporting of progress, challenge management, risk, and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Experienced Planning Manager or Senior Planner with a strong track record of delivering high-quality planning solutions.
  • Proven experience in managing a team of planners and leading planning teams.
  • Contract planning experience for a Tier 1 contractor.
  • Fully conversant and efficient in the use of P6.
  • Stakeholder management and experience of representing the company in front of clients at planning and business performance meetings.
  • Mentoring/coaching and professional development experience.
