About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Strategy Manager to join our Strategy team at Ark Victoria Academy. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with experience in strategy development and strategic planning to contribute to a dynamic and innovative organisation committed to addressing educational inequality.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in leading high-profile strategic projects that support the development and implementation of Ark's strategy and plans. This will involve managing and delivering strategic projects from initial scoping through to making recommendations and handover to delivery teams, designing and running operational planning and change management processes, and preparing impactful papers and presentations for various stakeholder groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to support the achievement of Ark's goals and objectives
  • Lead and manage strategic projects, including project scoping, research, analysis, and recommendations
  • Design and implement operational planning and change management processes to translate strategy into action
  • Prepare and present strategic plans and reports to senior stakeholders
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including colleagues, schools, and external partners
Requirements
  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Previous experience of developing strategy at pace in a range of organisations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong financial literacy and comfortable with modelling and data analysis
  • Experience of working with and influencing stakeholders and colleagues at a range of levels of seniority
