About the Role

Skanska, a leading project development and construction group, is seeking a Head of Compliance to join our building services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory and contractual requirements, as well as developing and implementing effective governance systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide senior-level compliance support, advice, and reports on statutory, legal, and regulatory matters.
  • Develop, coordinate, and control governance systems to manage statutory and contract compliance for all healthcare projects, liaising with on-site technical teams.
  • Analyze compliance reports from internal and external parties, implementing actions to resolve non-compliances, including NCRs and ACRs.
  • Support Senior Technical Managers and Technical Leads in revising procedures and reports to identify hidden risks and non-conformity issues.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and manage successful relationships with stakeholders, coupled with an analytical approach, business acumen, and dedication to legality.
  • Expertise in legal and clinical guidelines, corporate governance, and industry best practices, with a desire to remain current and informed.
  • Proven track record in compliance management in the healthcare sector, with experience in PFI, AP/AE/RP desirable.
  • A strong work ethic with the ability to manage a varied workload, focusing on reactive issues and proactive goals.
