Role Summary: Aircraft Mechanic

Your primary responsibility will be to guarantee the airworthiness of our fleet. This involves exceeding regulatory standards and adhering to our stringent Engineering Quality protocols. You will engage in various maintenance activities, including component replacements, routine inspections, and thorough visual assessments. Accurate documentation of all maintenance actions will be a critical aspect of your role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance and servicing tasks on aircraft or components under supervision.
  • Operate vehicles and mechanical handling equipment, adhering to safety regulations.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by following quality and health and safety standards.
  • Complete necessary IT and documentation processes.
  • Contribute to a high-performance team culture aligned with company values.
  • Assist in achieving departmental and organizational goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Ability to understand technical manuals and engineering protocols.
  • Demonstrated mechanical skills with at least 3 months of recent hands-on engineering experience.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.

Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 months of proven experience as an aircraft mechanic.
  • Strong engineering skills and the ability to follow established procedures and documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving abilities, with computer literacy.
  • Familiarity with engineering and document management systems.
  • Possession of a UK Manual Driving Licence; an Airside Driving Licence is advantageous.
