Role Overview:
The Assistant Secretary for Corporate Affairs will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional governance support to the organization’s Boards and Committees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored, client-centric corporate governance counsel to Boards and Committees, including:
- Organizing agendas aligned with strategic objectives and governance standards;
- Drafting, commissioning, reviewing, and refining documentation and reports;
- Preparing briefing materials for paper authors and meeting participants;
- Documenting comprehensive minutes of meetings;
- Distributing and monitoring action items resulting from meetings;
- Identifying and flagging potential conflicts of interest.
- Addressing group and client inquiries regarding corporate governance matters promptly.
- Understanding and implementing governance protocols and frameworks.
- Providing guidance on Company Law and LLP regulations to the Group and clients.
- Overseeing governance-related filings and compliance.
Desired Skills:
- Strong relationship management capabilities, adept at engaging with stakeholders across all organizational levels.
- Ability to offer practical alternatives and suggest effective solutions.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with proficient proofreading and drafting abilities.
