About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist in a rotational post covering adult inpatient services. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work alongside speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, dietitians, and therapy assistants to provide high-quality care to our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work in a rotational capacity across inpatient services, including acute surgical and medical wards, to gain experience in acquired communication and swallowing impairments.
  • Develop and acquire a wide range of essential skills and experience in acquired communication and swallowing impairments.
  • Work as part of a fully integrated multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
