About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Jupiter Recruitment. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for providing specialist rehabilitation care to individuals with acquired brain injury (ABI) or progressive neurological conditions (PNCs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage complex cases, cultural and linguistic differences, and generate strategies to support service users.
  • Demonstrate specialist knowledge in communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Contribute to the assessment and information-gathering regarding service users' mental capacity and ability to give informed consent with support from senior colleagues.
  • Assist service users to maximise their independence in decision-making and communicating their wishes.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree in Speech and Language Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
  • Have experience of managing a caseload involving assessment and treatment of dysphagia.
  • Experience of working with families.
  • Evidence of continuing Professional Development.
  • Able to show a can-do attitude always.
  • Specialist clinical knowledge and experience in Adult Neuro-rehab.
