We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team as a Senior Speech and Language Therapist - Clinical Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team, providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to children and young people with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist speech and language therapy services to children and young people with complex needs, including those with autism, learning disabilities, and communication disorders.
- Lead and manage a team of Speech and Language Therapists, providing clinical supervision, mentoring, and coaching to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and implement evidence-based practice, ensuring that services are aligned with best practice and national standards.
- Collaborate with multi-agency teams, including education, health, and social care, to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service strategies, ensuring that services are responsive to the needs of children and young people and their families.
- Provide training and professional development opportunities for staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality services.
- Monitor and evaluate service delivery, ensuring that services are effective and efficient, and making recommendations for improvement.
- Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent.
- Registration with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist with children and young people with complex needs.
- Experience of leading and managing a team of Speech and Language Therapists.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and their families, as well as with multi-agency teams.
- Ability to develop and implement evidence-based practice, ensuring that services are aligned with best practice and national standards.
