About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team as a Senior Speech and Language Therapist - Clinical Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team, providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to children and young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist speech and language therapy services to children and young people with complex needs, directly and through support to their families and the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Develop and deliver individualized therapy programs, including assessments, goal setting, and progress monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Supervise and mentor junior therapists and students, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality practice.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practice, including staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, peer review, and quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality services.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent.
  • Registration with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with children and young people with complex needs, including experience with AAC, ASD, and other related conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to supervise and mentor junior therapists.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices.
