Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Operations professional to join our team at Alvarez & Marsal. As an HR Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of high-quality HR services to our employees across the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely, efficient, and responsive HR Operations services to managers and staff across EMEA, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support the design and delivery of training on HR Operations processes and systems, including the creation of accompanying guidance manuals.
  • Maintain accurate HR & Payroll data through timely recording and upkeep of information on both the HR Information system and manual files.
  • Ensure control processes are followed and maintain a complete audit trail of all changes, including regular cleansing of data.
  • Manage the employee lifecycle, including contract preparation and changes, documentation preparation, right to work, background checks, compensation management, and absence management.
  • Participate in and potentially take ownership of several pivotal HR Operations projects.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure queries are answered in an efficient and timely manner, meeting KPIs and SLAs.
  • Update and communicate monthly HR reports and develop new and useful metrics.
  • Review and ensure that all policies are up to date and escalate as appropriate.
  • Provide insightful ideas and execution to constantly improve the service provided by the Ops team, leveraging our system to its fullest potential and enhancing end-user experience.
  • Assist the global mobility team with immigration processes, relocation, and transfers.
  • Collaborate with all other Corporate and non-Corporate Teams to achieve continuous improvement and a seamless service.

Requirements:

  • Customer Service:
    • Be passionate about improving employee experience and helping people.
    • Experience of providing administrative and technical support for a range of HR Operations functions, particularly with an employee life cycle.
    • Proven experience of advising and providing resolution of queries on conditions of service, employee lifecycle matters, and general employment enquiries, ensuring compliance and consistency across the organization.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior management.
    • Excellent communication & listening skills, knowing how to get a message across to others and establishing a strong rapport with employees and peers.
    • Ability to stir work and deliver by skilfully & effectively using verbal and written skills.
  • Accuracy & Self-Motivation:
    • High attention to detail.
    • Skilful at problem-solving.
    • Self-motivated and disciplined with analytical skills and a love of processes.
    • Capability to work independently as well as in teams.
    • Well-developed and up-to-date practical knowledge of employment law.
    • Very good experience using HRIS, preferably Workday.
    • Able to work confidentially at all times.
    • Excellent time management skills and proven experience of working under SLAs.
  • Collaboration:
    • Have a collaborative, open mindset.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Experience working as part of an HR team, preferably as part of shared services or operations.
    • Ability to work in a highly demanding team environment with a flexible attitude.
