Outpatient Services Coordinator

Position Overview
As a vital member of the Audiology outpatient team, the Outpatient Services Coordinator will be responsible for delivering exceptional administrative and clerical support to both our patients and clinical staff. The successful candidate will utilize their initiative and expertise to enhance processes and guarantee the efficient delivery of a high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the scheduling of follow-up appointments with precision.
- Utilize Medway PAS or other relevant electronic booking systems to coordinate appointments for new and returning patients, as directed by the management team and clinical personnel.
- Address inquiries from family members and external organizations while strictly adhering to confidentiality protocols.
- Ensure timely distribution and handling of incoming correspondence.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of 'O' level, GCSE, or equivalent qualifications, including English at Grade C.
Desirable Qualifications
- Possession of 5 GCSE A-C passes, including English and Maths or equivalent.
Required Experience
Essential Experience
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Experience working in an office setting.
- Understanding of confidentiality principles.
Desirable Experience
- Background in an outpatient department.
- Familiarity with hospital IT systems such as Careflow PAS.
