Position Overview

Diamond Blaque HR Solutions is seeking a dedicated Housing Management Systems Coordinator. This essential position will oversee the transition of the Housing Management System from the initial planning stages through to procurement and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

This role is vital in ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, including change management, procurement processes, and budget oversight. Your efforts will play a crucial role in the successful execution of this project.

This is a hybrid position, requiring a minimum of two days per month in the office to fulfill business requirements.

Project Delivery

You will be accountable for delivering the Housing Management System project on schedule, within financial constraints, and to established quality benchmarks. Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring, reporting, and evaluating project management activities.
  • Leading a medium-scale procurement initiative to ensure the appropriate products are acquired to meet the housing service's requirements.
Qualifications

Applicants should possess a minimum of GCSE Grade A-C (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics.

Essential Skills and Experience

This position offers a unique opportunity for professional development in procurement management within the public sector. Candidates should have:

  • Extensive experience in procurement management for public sector initiatives.
  • Knowledge of housing services and management within a local authority or registered social landlord (RSL) context.
  • A proven history of successfully managing large-scale procurement projects.
  • Experience in drafting technical specification documents to guide procurement efforts.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including a minimum of five years' experience with Prince II, Agile, or similar IT project delivery frameworks.
  • Excellent skills in risk analysis and mitigation strategies within the public sector.
  • The ability to design and implement comprehensive training programs in collaboration with subject matter experts and external partners.
  • Capability to ensure formal project closure and conduct reviews to capture and disseminate lessons learned.
  • Support in maintaining relationships with external contractors to ensure the availability of necessary skills and resources.
  • Solid experience collaborating with ICT management to document best practices for future operational procedures.
  • Proficiency in identifying, documenting, and managing complex risks that may impact multiple functional areas and partners.
