Position Overview
We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a part-time Administrative Support Coordinator to assist in the management of the Children's School Aged Immunisation Service. This role is integral to the operational efficiency of our services.
This position is structured for 4 days a week and is designated as a Maternity Cover, offered as a Fixed Term Contract / Secondment.
We seek a qualified individual who possesses outstanding communication, leadership, management, and organizational capabilities. The ideal candidate will be proactive and have the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
The successful applicant will collaborate closely with the other Administrative Support Coordinator and will play a vital role in overseeing and managing all administrative personnel, which includes recruitment, attendance tracking, and performance evaluation.

The selected candidate will be expected to engage with the organization, delivering services in a professional, efficient, friendly, and courteous manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the administrative teams in the South, ensuring processes align with service delivery.
- Handle client and patient telephone inquiries with confidentiality and professionalism, employing tact and diplomacy while directing inquiries to appropriate staff members.
- Support colleagues within the school-aged immunisation service and the broader administrative service, providing coverage during absences as necessary.
- Ensure the execution of general office tasks, including systematic filing of correspondence and patient documentation, photocopying, and email management, under the guidance of the Administration Manager.
- Facilitate in-house training and support for new team members within the department.
- Oversee the daily management and supervision of administrative officers, including authorizing leave requests and conducting performance reviews.
- Collaborate with the Administration Manager to address any disciplinary or grievance matters.
- Manage the allocation and prioritization of daily workloads for the administrative officers and organize rota systems to ensure the effective operation of the office.
