About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Store Director to join our team at Balenciaga UK Ltd. as a key member of our retail leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Define and execute the store action plan to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Optimize the relationship with the Department Store to ensure a commercial and efficient partnership.
  • Monitor local market trends and competition to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Proactively define and execute actions to drive business growth.
  • Communicate high-quality feedback to HQs/HO and the store team.
Talent Leadership and Development
  • Create and maintain a positive work environment aligned with Balenciaga's behaviors.
  • Build trust and rapport with the team to establish a strong, fair, and reliable leadership presence.
  • Provide a clear vision of goals for the overall team and individuals.
  • Identify, attract, recruit, develop, and retain talent.
  • Create and monitor development plans for store management and teams, driving professional growth through ongoing training and coaching.
Brand Promotion
  • Behave as a Balenciaga Ambassador, sustaining and promoting the brand culture internally and externally.
  • Ensure consistent execution of Balenciaga's Signature and Client experience.
  • Lead by example, conveying Balenciaga behaviors towards clients.
  • Know clients and prospects to define action plans.
  • Attract and recruit new clients from personal networks and external partners.
  • Develop a clienteling mindset and client loyalty and retention from beginners to Very Important Clients (VICs).
Process Management
  • Ensure all processes are compliant with legal, safety, security, internal requirements, sustainability, and HR guidelines.
  • Align with 'best practice' and coach the team to respect this way of working.
  • Ensure execution of Retail Excellence guidelines in the store.
  • Supervise inventory activities and warehouse stock.
  • Challenge and improve current processes to sustain growth, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Business: sales density, conversation rate, UPT, cross-selling rate, transactions.
  • Team: sales productivity, training completion rate, turnover rate, staff satisfaction.
  • Client: local retention rate, Customer Engagement Experience (CEE).
  • Process: CRM, Omnichannel, back of house.
