We are seeking dedicated neurorehabilitation staff nurses to join our exceptional team at Brainkind, specializing in care for individuals with Acquired Brain Injuries and Neurological conditions. We offer adaptable contracts and various working schedules to accommodate your needs.

About Brainkind

Brainkind is a leading facility focused on assessment and rehabilitation for individuals with acquired brain injuries. Our environment supports both men and women who may have experienced strokes, accidents, or other undiagnosed health issues. We provide accommodation for up to 38 individuals, all of whom may present complex needs, challenging behaviors, mental health issues, and addictions. Our mission is to assist them in managing these alongside their brain injuries, fostering an environment of recovery and support.

Team Collaboration

As a staff nurse, you will collaborate with a specialized team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and fellow nurses. You will also lead a team of rehabilitation support nurses and work closely with the families of our clients, NHS commissioning teams, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will involve:

  • Providing high-quality nursing care to individuals with complex needs.
  • Managing and supporting a team of rehabilitation support nurses.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
  • Utilizing your expertise to enhance the rehabilitation process for clients.

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience as RMN/RNLD/RMN is required, with additional training in the neurobehavioral model provided.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to empower and manage a team effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships.
  • Capability to use initiative and maintain flexibility in your approach.
  • Proficiency in addressing challenges and resolving issues positively.
