Hours: Full-time positions are 38.5 hours per week, comprising 7 x 12-hour shifts biweekly.
We invite dedicated nursing professionals to join our team at the Brainkind Neurological Centre in York, a state-of-the-art 40-bed independent facility focused on neuropsychiatric and neurobehavioral evaluation and rehabilitation following acquired brain injuries.

Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council as RMN/RNLD/RGN
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and adaptable
- Excellent interpersonal skills with compassion and empathy
- Ability to function effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Desirable Qualifications:
- Previous experience with acquired brain injury
- Familiarity with the Mental Health Act & Mental Capacity Act
- Recognition as a practice assessor/supervisor
- Understanding of risk assessment and management
- Proficient IT and keyboard skills
Pre-registrants Preceptorship:
Brainkind provides a preceptorship program for newly registered practitioners, offering mentorship and guidance during the transition to independent practice. This 6-12 month program pairs you with an experienced nurse for structured support and learning.
