Our facilities employ expert neurorehabilitation techniques to assist individuals in regaining lost skills. We support those with various brain injuries resulting from trauma, illness, or substance abuse, helping them to recover and achieve their personal goals. Job Responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • Current professional registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (RMNH/ RNLD/ RGN).
  • Highly motivated, adaptable, and enthusiastic in work approach.
  • Possess a friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating care and empathy.
  • Able to function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Desirable:

  • Experience with acquired brain injury care.
  • Familiarity with the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act.
  • Recognized as a practice assessor or supervisor.
  • Understanding of risk assessment and management within clinical practice.
  • Proficient in IT and keyboard skills, with experience in computerized record systems.

Preceptorship Program

At Brainkind, we are pleased to offer a preceptorship program for newly registered practitioners. This initiative provides a supportive transition into our team, enhancing your confidence and competence as you evolve from student to independent professional. The preceptorship lasts between 6 to 12 months, during which you will be paired with a Nurse mentor who will guide you through structured meetings and learning opportunities.
