Job Responsibilities
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Current professional registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (RMNH/ RNLD/ RGN).
- Highly motivated, adaptable, and enthusiastic in work approach.
- Possess a friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating care and empathy.
- Able to function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable:
- Experience with acquired brain injury care.
- Familiarity with the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act.
- Recognized as a practice assessor or supervisor.
- Understanding of risk assessment and management within clinical practice.
- Proficient in IT and keyboard skills, with experience in computerized record systems.
Preceptorship Program
At Brainkind, we are pleased to offer a preceptorship program for newly registered practitioners. This initiative provides a supportive transition into our team, enhancing your confidence and competence as you evolve from student to independent professional. The preceptorship lasts between 6 to 12 months, during which you will be paired with a Nurse mentor who will guide you through structured meetings and learning opportunities.
