Position Overview

Become a vital part of our Customer Support Operations team, where you will engage in a collaborative environment dedicated to addressing application support challenges related to our Housing solutions. As a key member of our team, you will deliver technical support, application assistance, and expert guidance to our NEC Housing clientele. Your role will also involve striving to meet service level agreements (SLAs) while ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and resolution of issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical support and application assistance to clients, showcasing comprehensive knowledge of application environments.
  • Comprehend contractual obligations and address incidents/problems within the defined SLAs.
  • Convert client requirements into practical solutions and workarounds.
  • Create and execute technical support procedures and documentation.
  • Proactively provide support services and identify opportunities for revenue generation.

Our team operates on a rota covering Canadian hours, with one week in eight requiring work from 2 PM to 10 PM. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Qualifications

Essential Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Housing Management Software is crucial.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting Web Applications.
  • Proficiency in SQL scripting and management of Housing databases.
  • Experience in providing support to end-users.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with NEC Housing software and related applications is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with operating systems administration, such as Microsoft Windows, Linux, or Solaris.
  • Experience with application delivery tools, including Citrix.
  • Understanding of software development principles within an ISO 9001 framework.
  • Experience in generating reports using Business Objects or similar reporting tools.
