We are seeking a Global Biologics Digital Product Owner Lead to guide the development of our digital capabilities within our Biologics Manufacturing business.

Role Purpose

This role will serve as the voice of our Manufacturing Operations, ensuring that our digital solutions meet the evolving needs of our Development Services and Manufacturing business, as well as providing valuable data and products to our Customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a global service and Product Owner, unifying individual service and product owners across the network to ensure alignment on how products/services are managed.
  • Lead your team of Global Product Owners in the agile deployment and iterative evolution of network solutions, leveraging existing IT platforms as a foundation for development.
  • Ensure that the systems required to manage the Products owned by your team are maintained, including any software solutions necessary to achieve user goals (e.g., data aggregation, prediction).
  • Define the business processes supported by the computerized systems within your Product portfolio.
  • Set validation and compliance expectations for Products and Processes owned by your team, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
  • Maintain oversight of the integrity and performance of computerized systems by collaborating closely with the IT organization to achieve business objectives.
  • Coordinate closely with IT/OT system owners for the operation and support of network solutions, fostering a unified approach to system lifecycle management across the Product portfolio.
Key Requirements
  • A degree in Biotechnology or a related field (any science background or maths/STEM).
  • Operational experience within Biopharma and Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing.
  • Broad knowledge of digital technologies such as mobile technologies, Internet of Things, Data Science, cybersecurity, etc., within the context of manufacturing.
  • A good understanding of agile delivery methods.
  • Experience with innovation management methods, including the development of Business Models & Business Cases.
  • A strong understanding of regulated environments and the challenges they present for digital transformation projects.
  • Proven experience with IT Security topics in the context of digitalization.
  • Proficiency in managing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to operationalization, growth, and eventual retirement or replacement.
  • Effective communication and influencing skills to gain buy-in from stakeholders, negotiate priorities, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
