Job Title: Ophthalmology Directorate Administrator

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to join our Ophthalmology Directorate team. As an administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our department, working closely with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

About the Role:
  • Provide administrative support to the Patient Pathway Coordinators, ensuring accurate and comprehensive patient records and clinical details are maintained.
  • Log and book appointments on Electronic Patient Record (EPR) systems, ensuring timely and efficient management of outpatient referrals.
  • Monitor and manage the appointments for booking list on Electronic Referral System (ERS), ensuring optimal utilization of elective outpatient capacity.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies.
  • Assist with maintaining filing and scanning systems, and perform other basic office duties as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the management team to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and administrative services.
