Position Overview
The Oxford Radiology, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Diagnostic Research Group is a collaborative research entity within the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This group is dedicated to the assessment of innovative diagnostic digital health technologies, particularly focusing on applications that utilize Artificial Intelligence for image analysis. Co-led by esteemed professionals in Emergency Medicine and Radiology, this group is rapidly expanding and engages in a diverse array of projects and collaborations with clinical, academic, and industrial partners both locally and globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all clinical trials within the research group are established, executed, and managed in compliance with Good Clinical Practice, applicable Standard Operating Procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Lead and manage the administrative and operational team within the clinical research group.
- Oversee the financial management and budgeting of the research group, ensuring a balanced portfolio that supports sustainable income generation for team development.
- Collaborate in the development and execution of the operational strategy for the clinical research group alongside consultants, researchers, and the Clinical Research Manager.
- Drive business development initiatives within the research group to cultivate a sustainable mix of commercial and non-commercial research opportunities.
- Act as a vital member of the clinical research team, coordinating with clinical and medical personnel to provide necessary updates and information regarding the research portfolio.
- Represent the research group at relevant meetings as required.
- Work in conjunction with the Clinical Research Manager to ensure the effective deployment of clinical skills and expertise as needed.
