About the Role
As a Careline Response Officer, you will be a vital link between our vulnerable customers and the support services they need. Working a flexible 24/7 rota, your key responsibilities will include:
- Handling emergency and non-emergency calls from customers, providing a professional, caring, and consistent service.
- Attending customer homes to assist those who have fallen, using specialized equipment to help lift them safely.
- Liaising with emergency responders, healthcare providers, and other services to ensure customers receive the support they require.
- This is a role where you can truly make a difference, helping older and disabled individuals maintain their independence and live safely in their own homes.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact sensitively with people of all ages and abilities.
- Experience working under pressure and using your own initiative, with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in using computer systems to accurately input and retrieve information.
- A current driver's license which allows you to drive vehicles with a manual gearbox.
