Key Responsibilities:

As a Bid Manager within the BES Electrical sales team, you will collaborate with leading technical experts, chartered engineers, and seasoned project managers to produce a cohesive and competitive final bid that meets scoring criteria.

Your duties will include:

Coordinating, drafting, and developing thorough PQQ/ITT responses that align with specification requirements, adhering to strict deadlines. Managing PQQ and ITT responses within a centralized repository and ensuring that Lessons Learned activities are conducted on Tenders. Utilizing local insights, evidence, and research to tailor bids for a specific audience, ensuring a strong evidence base and innovative strategies as guided by organizational experts and best practices. Providing structured formats and text for contributors to the bid, ensuring quality assurance, consistency, and grammatical accuracy, while offering constructive feedback to gather meaningful and concise information. Submitting bids for internal review to comply with quality assurance and governance protocols. Overseeing the pipeline of bids and regularly updating the Head of Sales on timelines. Collaborating across the organization to support Sector leaders based on tender activities, ensuring a unified approach to bids. Delivering training on bid best practices, processes, and quality standards. Assisting Business Development with additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in crafting successful bid submissions. Proficient in MS Office and IT applications. Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail, ensuring compliance with word/page limits. Excellent organizational skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build credible collaborative relationships. Flexibility to adapt to the demands of the role. A team player willing to adjust to the changing priorities of the organization. A history of contributing innovative ideas to enhance the success and growth of the company. Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
