Senior EICA Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior EICA Engineer to join our team at MWH Treatment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing superior quality Engineering Design services to support our company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cost-effective design layouts that meet the requirements of our clients and ensure the successful construction and commissioning of our projects.
  • Collaborate with our proposals department to provide estimates and feedback, ensuring that our designs are competitive and meet the needs of our clients.
  • Work closely with our team to develop and maintain procedures and processes that ensure the continued development and improvement of our engineering department.
  • Assist in the development of procedures and processes, and monitor and review their effectiveness.
  • Write, update, and maintain efficient procedures to aid the smooth running of our department.
  • Ensure the coordination of designs with all other disciplines internal and external to MWH Treatment.
  • Maintain accurate files and records throughout the duration of our contracts.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and work within a culture that prioritizes customer satisfaction as the key to achieving other objectives.
  • Maintain a personal development plan and assist in the supervision and development of staff.
  • Assist in ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and reducing waste to a minimum from all departmental activities.
  • Ensure that designs take account of environmental issues and comply with all health and safety requirements.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of the principles of water and sewage treatment.
  • Experience in managing members of staff in designing relevant discipline aspects of water and sewage treatment plants.
  • Membership of a professional institution, chartered or nearing chartership.
  • Relevant discipline Engineering HND.
  • Ability to rationalize designs and produce economic plant layouts.
  • Good general knowledge of all aspects of water treatment, including mechanical engineering, process engineering, electrical engineering, and project management.
  • A flexible mind, with the ability to assimilate large amounts of different data at one time.
  • Ability to present technical proposals clearly, confidently, and convincingly.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Driving license.

Desirable:

  • Working towards Chartered Engineer status.
  • Relevant Engineering Master's Degree.
