The successful candidate will report directly to the RDL and will be responsible for providing high-quality Engineering Design services to support the company's growth and success.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing cost-effective design layouts that meet the requirements of the specification and can be constructed and commissioned effectively.
  • Ensuring that standard practices are utilized wherever possible to maintain consistency and efficiency.
  • Providing estimates and feedback to support the proposals department.
  • Working closely with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the design process.
  • Monitoring and reviewing procedures and processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Developing and implementing efficient procedures to aid the smooth running of the department.
  • Coordinating designs with other disciplines to ensure that the design process is carried out effectively.
  • Working within a culture that prioritizes customer satisfaction and recognizes the importance of meeting the needs of all stakeholders.
  • Ensuring that designs take account of environmental issues and health and safety requirements.
