Civil Engineer Apprentice

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Graduate Civil / Site Engineer to join our team at Unite People. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in site setup, establishing survey control, and managing site operations to ensure safety, quality, cost effectiveness, and timely production.
Key Responsibilities:- Site Setup and Survey Control: Assist in setting up site operations, establishing survey control, and using robotic total stations, GPS, and levelling instruments to set out and produce as-builts.
- Site Operations Management: Manage site operations to ensure safety, quality, cost effectiveness, and timely production, including planning and sequencing of operations.
- Method Statements and Risk Assessments: Write method statements and risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Procurement and Resource Management: Support the procurement of sub-contractors, labour, plant, and material resources.
- Team Briefings and Performance Updates: Provide team briefings covering operational requirements and performance updates.
- Quality Control and QA Processes: Implement quality control and QA processes to meet regulatory requirements.
- Commercial and Contract Management: Manage commercial and contract aspects of the project.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Equivalent: A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is required.
- Full UK Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is required.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building and maintaining positive relationships.
