The Junior Underwriting Associate is a vital member of our underwriting team, contributing significantly to our operational success.

This role involves close collaboration with senior underwriters to facilitate informed underwriting decisions and enhance strategic operational execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in organizing and participating in client meetings
  • Support risk assessment and collaborate with actuaries on pricing models
  • Stay informed on claims developments and coordinate with the claims department
  • Ensure precise scanning and cataloging of risk documentation into the underwriting workflow system
  • Accurately input risk information into the underwriting database
  • Develop and nurture client and broker relationships
  • Handle inquiries with professionalism and efficiency
  • Represent the company at corporate and networking functions
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and report on pertinent issues
  • Engage in monitoring premium payments and liaising with brokers
  • Assist in exposure management and aggregate data collection
  • Comply with the Company’s Business Ethics policy and all regulatory standards
