The role of a Junior Underwriting Associate is pivotal within our organization, contributing significantly to our underwriting team.

This position involves close collaboration with senior underwriters to facilitate informed underwriting choices and enhance the strategic operational framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in organizing and participating in client meetings
  • Support risk assessment and collaborate with actuaries on pricing models
  • Maintain awareness of claims developments and coordinate with the claims department
  • Ensure meticulous scanning and indexing of risk documentation into the underwriting workflow system
  • Accurately input risk information into the underwriting system
  • Effectively cultivate and sustain relationships with clients and brokers

  • Represent MS Amlin at corporate and networking functions
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and report on pertinent issues
